KOPASHAS.COM – Surat yang di kirimkan oleh Kementerian ESDM kepada Gubernur Jambi. Yang meminta Pemerintah Provinsi Jambi untuk melakukan peninjauan kembali terkait kebijakan angkutan batu bara lewat darat. Gubernur Al Haris berikan tanggapannya kepada awak media pada Selasa 30/1.
Pihaknya mengaku telah membaca isi surat tersebut. Ia menyampaikan, bahwa Pemprov Jambi akan mempertimbangkan apakah akan memakai jalur darat atau jalur air.
“Saya sudah baca surat itu. Surat itu kan menegaskan agar Pemerintah mempertimbangkan apakah untuk tetap jalannya angkutan itu. Baik melalui jalur darat ataupun jalur air,” ungkap Al Haris.
Terkait alasan KESDM bahwa akibat penghentian angkutan jalur darat dapat mengganggu pasokan listrik PLN untuk Sumatera. Gubernur Al Haris menjelaskan bahwa saat ini pasokannya tetap berjalan lewat angkutan batu bara jalur air.
“Kita masih jalan sampai hari ini, jalur air masih jalan. Artinya pasokan kita ke PLN masih jalan,” jelas Al Haris.

Kemudian terkait surat permohonan tersebut, Gubernur Al Haris menegaskan saat ini Pemerintah Provinsi Jambi akan tetap tegas. Pastinya bagi angkutan batu bara melalui jalur air.
“Saya kira sementara waktu pasokan ke PLN tetap jalan melalui jalur sungai, kita tetap mencari solusi terbaik,” tegasnya.
Selanjutnya pihaknya juga menekankan bahwa dalam mengatasi persoalan angkutan batu bara ini. Pemerintah akan mencari solusi terbaik. Al Haris menjamin tidak akan mengambil solusi yang akan membunuh masyarakat.
“Pemerintah bukanlah membunuh rakyat, pemerintah tetap mencari solusi terbaik dari angkutan itu. Jadi sementara tetap kita menggunakan jalur air itu dulu,” pungkasnya.
